Dr. Oetzel is fantastic--super brilliant, thoughtful, and kind! I've been working with her since April of 2022 on my pcos diagnosis. It's been a very painful and stressful condition for me--and unfortunately a number of other Black women friends and loved ones in my life. Part of my symptoms include irregular periods, stomach pains and cramping, hair thinning, hirsutism and weight gain. Since developing my own walking practice, receiving acupuncture treatments (nearly every week with a gap in August) and more recently herbal prescription, my periods have returned and remained pretty consistent this past year. I'm super grateful to Dr. Oetzel for herbs and acupuncture. I plan to continue to work with her in order to reduce the severe pain connected to my periods and ovulation. I like that she answers my questions and provides fundamental info on the TCM approach to PCOS. She's awesome and a true blessing.

Dr. Jaqui is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! If you’re looking for a compassionate, caring practitioner, then look no further!!! Dr. Jaqui’s attention to detail is impeccable. She takes the time to listen to you and truly grasp the symptoms you’re experiencing, which is extremely rare these days!! I had very intense symptoms, and at the very first visit Jaqui was intrigued, and immediately began her quest to see that I got some relief. Dr. Jaqui was determined, worked tirelessly, and patiently until we finally had a breakthrough! She has the sweetest spirit and treats you with the utmost respect and dignity each and every visit!! There is not enough words to describe Dr. Jaqui, so I will start by saying a little about myself. I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis since 2003. I have been paralyzed several times. I hate taking traditional medication that my Neuro prescribes even thou it helps with my MS symptoms. So, I search out Acupuncture, I have seen sever different acupuncturist, again can truly tell you that Dr. Jaqui was the only one that listen to me and helped me with the symptoms that I was experiencing at every time I have got treatments. My last treatment I was having severe facial pain when I explain to my PCP, I was told that I should where a mouth guard to keep from clenching my teeth which is what the pain was attributed to. Dr. Jaqui gave me acupuncture and immediately the pain was gone and has not returned yet which has been about 5 months ago. Every time from here on out I will see Dr. Jaqui for any weird symptom this disease throws my way.

Dr. Jaqui is wonderful!!  She is exceptional at explaining how the treatments address my issues.  I have chronic myofascial pain syndrome and had been dealing with debilitating back pain since 2020.  I’ve had multiple rounds of PT with dry needling, muscle relaxers, and two procedures (an ablation, and a medial branch block).  I started seeing Dr. Jaqui in January 2024.  Using Acupuncture to release the pressure points throughout my back and cupping has left me pain free. I know I can get relief in the future if/when I get additional trigger/pressure points.   While seeing Dr Jaqui for my back, I got Vertigo and Acupuncture also helped relieve those symptoms.

I’ve been having trouble with weakness in my triceps for almost 2 years now.  I’ve been to every specialist and no one has been able to resolve my issue.   So my wife suggested acupuncture and at this point in time I was willing to try anything!  Honestly I went in expecting another disappointment, but to my surprise acupuncture has given me hope!! I have got results that I hadn’t had with the other specialist.  Each treatment has helped strengthen my triceps almost instantly!!  Dr Jaqui has been awesome with explaining the procedure and it’s so evident that she has mastered the technique.  I am so thankful for her knowledge and compassion with helping me with my issue.  She truly cares and I appreciate her!!!

Dr. Jaqui is AMAZING!  I always feel so relaxed after each session. She has been treating me for lower back pain and my knee, in addition to my physical therapy and it is making such a difference. I highly recommend.
